Anderson Speedway Prepares For 7th Annual Bush Trophy Case New Year's Day Bash

The 7th Annual Bush Trophy Case & Embroidery New Year’s Day Bash will take place at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, January 1, 2005, featuring Open Street Stocks, Insight ThunderCars in Oval and Figure 8 racing and Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drives on the Oval and Figure 8.

In last year’s New Year’s Day Bash, 93 cars battled on January 1. Darrell Click earned the victory in the Open Street Stock feature with Ronnie Rose grabbing top honors in both the Insight ThunderCar Oval and Figure 8 main events. George Baker Jr. was the winner in the Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drive feature.

Activities for the 7th Annual Bush Trophy Case & Embroidery New Year’s Day Bash begin on Saturday, January 1, with practice scheduled for 11 a.m. The racing program will go green at 1 p.m.

General admission tickets will be priced at $10 for adults, $4 for children 6-12 with kids five and under admitted free. A limited number of tickets are available in heated suites for a price of $25 per person.
