G.W. Pierce Auto Parts Backs Front Wheel Drives |

6, 2012) –
Anderson Speedway officials have reached a sponsorship agreement
with G.W. Pierce Auto Parts for the 2012 racing season.
G.W. Pierce will be
the title sponsor of the Front Wheel Drive divisions on the Oval and Figure
8’s.

Late Models, Street Stocks and
Front Wheel Drives Debut Saturday Night |

5, 2012) –
The season kicks off Saturday night for the four regular divisions
at Anderson Speedway. The McGunegill Engine Performance Late Models, EDCO
Welding Street Stocks along with G.W. Pierce Front Wheel Drives (Oval &
Figure 8’s) will do battle on the historic quarter-mile oval.

EDCO Welding Continues
Support of Street Stocks |
 (April
4, 2012) –
Anderson Speedway officials
announced that EDCO Welding & Hydraulics will continue its sponsorship of
the Street Stock division for the 2012 season.
Josh Poore earned the 2011 EDCO Welding Street Stock championship, scoring
97 more points than runner-up Josh Myers. Third in the final round-up was
Rob Allman with Randy Hoppes and Frankie Oakes filling out the top five.
Poore collected a division best five feature wins with single event
checkered flags claimed by Myers, Brian Hopkins, Rickie Tharp, Jason
Thompson, Ronnie Rose and Jeff Lane.

Powers Late Model Division |

3, 2012) –
Anderson Speedway officials announced that McGunegill Engine
Performance (MEP) will be the sponsor for the Late Model division for the
2012 racing season. MEP is expanding their partnership with Anderson
Speedway after an event sponsorship program last season.

Allman Goes Wire to Wire to Win
WMDH ThunderCar Enduro |

The opening night at Anderson Speedway turned into a battle of
nerves between two veteran drivers in the WMDH Thunder Car Enduro on
Saturday.
Rob Allman, in a brand new car, jumped into the lead at the start and was
chased by Nick Warmer for the next 192 laps.

Hargraves Opens Season with Victory |

Three lead changes in the first ten laps and an unexpected winner
marked the opening IOFS race of the season at Anderson Speedway on Saturday.
Charlie Hargraves claimed the win when Gary Bedell’s car suffered an
electrical ignition problem on a restart with three laps remaining.

Dossey, Weddle Score Wins |

Indianapolis driver Jack Dossey Jr., the national points’ leader in
the Legends Division showed a lot of patience before passing fast qualifier
Andy Jones with three laps remaining.
Jones took the lead from the pole position chased by Bryan Nuckles, Dossey,
Matt Erich and Alex Arelano. Dossey used an inside pass on the tenth circuit
to pass Nuckles entering turn three
