Families Forever Night Set for Friday Evening
(May
26, 2011) – After the 33-car field is set for the 63rd Pay Less
Little 500 on Friday at Anderson Speedway the local divisions will take
center stage during the Families Forever Night on Friday evening. A huge
fireworks show will cap off the program after the exciting racing action
from the WMDH ThunderCars along with Front Wheel Drives on the Oval and
Figure 8.
In the WMDH ThunderCars, Rob Allman sits atop the point standings with a
slim three point advantage over Lonny Burton. The remainder of the top five
includes Hannah Lundy, David McConnel and Jameson Owens.
In the Front Wheel Drive Oval division, Jeff Williams leads the pack after
scoring two victories to start the 2011 season. Ron Phipps is ranked second
with Jamie Williams, Kevin Henson and Marshall Clark rounding out the top
five.
Chris Teepe is pacing the Front Wheel Drive Figure 8 point standings after
earning some early season victories. Veteran Bruce McFall ranks second with
Kevin Henson ranked in third position. Elliott McKinney and Trevin Henson
complete the top five.
On Saturday, the 63rd Pay Less Little 500 goes green approximately at 8 p.m.
