59th Pay Less Little 500 and City of Anderson Little 500 Festival Press Conference Cancelled on Thursday Due to Heavy Rain and Storms

Little 500 Festival and Anderson Speedway officials have cancelled the press conference for the 59th running of the Pay Less Little 500 and the 20th Annual Little 500 Festival originally scheduled for Thursday, April 26 at 3 p.m. due to the strong possibility of severe storms and heavy rain that is forecasted., at the historic Central Indiana racetrack.

The Pay Less Little 500 is the world’s richest sprint car race on asphalt, featuring 33 cars battling for one of the most treasured checkered flags in American Motorsports.

The Little 500 Festival is a month long celebration in May with numerous events that have raised nearly 1 million dollars for local non-profit organizations. Since 1988, the Festival has provided Madison County residents and visitors enough activities to fill the month of May. The goal of the Little 500 Festival is to create a celebration that provides family entertainment, inspires pride in our community and promotes the history of the historic Pay Less Little 500 at the world's fastest quarter-mile oval of Anderson Speedway while raising money for local charities.
