Exciting 2007 Schedule Released
60th Anniversary Season Begins on March 31

Action Entertainment has released the tentative 2007 racing schedule for Anderson Speedway that celebrates the 60th Anniversary season at the World’s Fastest Quarter-Mile Oval. Returning divisions will be the Ed Martin Auto Group Super Trucks, Lampco Federal Credit Union Street Stocks and Figure 8’s on Saturdays along with Newco Metals Legends, ThunderCars and Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drives on Friday Nights.
The 2007 schedule begins with the 9th Annual New Year’s Day Bash presented by Yellow Book on Monday, January 1, featuring Lampco federal Credit Union Street Stocks, ThunderCars, Figure 8’s, Mini Stocks and the Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drives (Oval & Figure 8).
On March 31, the ThunderCar Enduro 200 will feature up to 55 cars in the starting field. Special appearances from the Newco Metals Legends and Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drive Figure 8’s will also take place.
April 7 is the opening points night for the Ed Martin Auto Group SuperTrucks, Lampco Federal Credit Union Street Stocks and Figure 8’s. In addition, the Legends division will be showcased on opening night.
The MAX/WLBC Friday Night Summer Series kicks off on Friday, May 4 with Kenyon Midgets, ThunderCars and Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drives (Oval & Figure 8).
Some of the exciting special events planned for the 2007 racing season at Anderson Speedway include two Nights of Thrills, the return of the Triathlon, Anderson 400, three ThunderCar Enduros and the prestigious National Crown.
Several touring series will make visits to Anderson Speedway in the 60th anniversary season including USAC National Sprint Cars & Midgets, CRA Super Series Late Models, H.O.S.S. Winged Sprint Cars, SuperPro Late Models, Kenyon Midgets, Ford Focus Midgets, ARCA Lincoln Welders Trucks, USA Modified Tour and the 10th Annual Stock Car Festival.
The 59th Pay Less Little 500 will again be the premier event of the 2007 season, taking place on Saturday, May 26, with the top asphalt sprint car racers in the country.
The 2007 schedule will become official in the early part of January.
