Boyer Top Finishing Anderson Driver at Halloween 200

Three-time Lampco Federal Credit Union Street Stock Champion Rich Boyer was the top performing driver from Anderson Speedway that competed in last weekend's Halloween 200 at Salem Speedway.

Boyer, who started mid-pack in the 92-car starting field, crossed the finish line in sixth position. Former Halloween 200 winner Johnny Magee placed ninth with Anderson's Jon Conklin posting 18th place honors.

Other Anderson Speedway drivers that competed in the 19th running of the event included Shane Cullen 23rd, Larry Swinford 52nd, Rod Phipps 66th, Michael Phipps 75th, Rob Allman 77th, Dennis Wallen 80th, Jeff Perry 81st, Derrick Layne 83rd and Joe Beaver in 91st.

The Halloween 200 race victory went to Kentucky's Beau Mitchell, who made a late-race pass on New Castle's Brian Hopkins. Chuck Barnes placed third with David Bayens and Doug Miller completing the top five.
