Enduro, School Bus Figure 8’s and Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drive Figure
8’s. After the racing program comes to a close, Anderson Speedway will feature
an awesome fireworks show.
A
remarkable six consecutive feature victories has placed Daniel Russell in first
place in the Legends point standings. He holds a 172 point advantage over T.J.
Sneva, who has produced six top-10 showings. John Robbins is third in the
point’s rundown with Scott McGinley and Eric Black completing the top five.
With
a runner-up performance last weekend, Brandon Phillips became the fifth driver
to lead the Insight ThunderCar Oval point standings in eight events. Phillips
has constructed a 32 point margin on Alice Riall. Rookie Billy Riddle ranks
third with previous point leader Roy Grissom Sr. and William Coffman rounding
out the top five.
Recording
a division-leading third checkered flag last Friday, Terry Malone Jr. sailed
into first position in the Insight ThunderCar Figure 8 division. Mechanical
problems dropped Paris Swallows to the runner-up position, 85 markers behind
Malone. Ranking third is Mike Peters with Darryl Rogers and Billy Riddle filling
out the top five.
Sam
Folsom drove into the Texas Roadhouse Winner’s Circle for the fourth occasion
this season and recaptured the Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drive Oval point
lead. He holds a 25 point cushion on Dustin Burge. Third is Alexandria’s Kevin
Harmon with Nick Warner and Brad Stevens completing the top five.
Nick
Warner scored his sixth checkered flag in the most recent Chappy’s Rent to Own
Front Wheel Drive Figure 8 event, extending his points lead to 150 markers over
Randy Owen and Allen Wagner. Two feature wins and nine top-10 finishes have
placed Chris Teepe in fourth with Travis Burge listed in fifth position.
On Friday Night, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with racing beginning at 8.
Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under

initial seven events has placed Broyles in the first position. 2004 runner-up
Mike Mendenhall is third with Bob Lemen and Scott Brooks completing the top
five.
Posting
top-five finishes in each of the opening 10 events has propelled Rich Boyer to
first spot in the Terry’s RV Sales & Service Street Stocks. Boyer leads
second-ranking Rod Phipps by 264 markers. Phipps has scored two feature wins and
nine top-five finishes. Third is most recent feature winner Danny Acrey ll with
Curtis Chapman and Ryan Buckner rounding out the top five.
