After
finishing a career best fifth in the Terry’s RV Sales & Service Street Stock
standings in 2004, Lapel’s Dennis Moser returns this season with goals of
improving on last years results.
“I’m looking forward to this year and putting together a better season than last
year,” said Dennis Moser. “We worked on our car over the winter and I believe
the changes made will make us a contender for race wins and the championship.”
In 2004, Moser was listed fifth in the final owner point standings. He recorded
two top-five finishes and 11 top 10s. He drove to a season best runner-up
performance on June 5, finishing behind eventual DT’S R Bar Rookie of the Year
Jason Atkinson.
The 2005 season will mark Moser's fourth year racing with the Street Stock at
Anderson. After two part-time seasons in 2002 and 2003, Moser put together an
impressive 2004 campaign and he is confident about the upcoming schedule.
"I want to be competitive each week. Our goal is to finish as many races as
possible. We have a new engine and are looking forward the season opening this
weekend."
Moser has garnered a lot of racing experience with more than 18 years of
competition in Central Indiana. He got his start on the dirt tracks and also
spent time at the Speedrome before advancing to the world’s fastest quarter-mile
oval of Anderson Speedway.
He will continue to drive his own No.
53 with sponsorship from the Outside Inn and Collision Cure.
The Terry’s RV Sales & Service Street Stock season begins on Saturday, joining
the regular Saturday Night divisions.
