On Saturday, October 26,
Anderson Speedway will host the Howl-O-Ween
Pet Costume Parade, a benefit for the
Madison County Humane Society.
As their entry fee,
participants are asked to bring blankets,
bags of cat/dog food, kitty litter, pet
toys, pet treats, supplies or a monetary
donation. Registration begins at 11 with the
pet costume walk around the track starting
at noon lasting until 1:45.Trophies will be
given in the following pet costume
categories: cutest, scariest, most creative
and best pet and owner duo costume. Pet
adoptions from the Madison County Humane
Society will be available.
There will be other fun activities, like a
photo booth, that pets and their owners can
participate in. All fur babies with leashes
are welcome.
Anderson Speedway will also be collecting
blankets, bags of cat/dog food, kitty
litter, pet toys, pet treats and supplies
during Saturday evening’s race. Everyone who
donates an item, will receive $2 off their
ticket. Tickets for October 26’s Triple 100
are $12 for adults. Gates open at 2pm with a
special race time of 5:00.
Also on Saturday, Anderson Speedway’s Front
Wheel Oval Drivers will host a Trunk or
Treat after qualifications. The drivers will
have their cars on display, hand out candy,
sign autographs and take photos.
Afterwards, all children
dressed in costume will parade around the
track where parents and fans can take photos
and cheer them on. All children 14 and under
are invited to participate. There will be
other kid fun activities like a photo booth
and pumpkin painting. Gates for race night
open at 2, the Trunk or Treat starts at
approximately 4:00 with the kids’ costume
parade following right after and a special
race time at 5pm. Don’t miss all the spook-tacular
