to action on Saturday, July 27 with
Edgewater Wood/Alzheimer’s Awareness Night
featuring Street Stocks, WMDH ThunderCars
along with Front Wheel Drives Oval & Figure

In the Street Stocks, Calvin Parham leads
the division on the strength of four
top-five finishes and a feature victory. The
No. 31 entry driven by Tyler Marsh and West
Russell ranks second, 85 points behind
Parham. Third is Danny Adams with Jimmy
Kirby and JC Cook rounding out the top five.
Curtis Chapman continues to pace the WMDH
ThunderCars with a 43-point advantage over
Trent Gossar. Most recent feature winner Rob
Allman is third with Tom Gossar and Austin
Russell completing the top five.
The Front Wheel Drives Oval features a tight
battle atop the standings. Elliott McKinney
has a 26 point lead over Paul Phipps. Both
drivers have posted nine top-five finishes
and 10 top 10s. Third is Jerry Dane with
Austin McKinney and Jessie Thomas filling
out the top five.
The Front Wheel Drive Figure 8’s showcases
the closest margin between first and second
with Elliott McKinney just 14 markers ahead
of Kevin Henson. Third is Mark Allman with
Jamie Valentine in fourth and Brian McKinney
ranked in fifth position.
On Saturday, July 27, spectator gates open
at 5 p.m. with the racing beginning at 8.
Admission is $12 for adults and $4 for kids
ages 6-12. Children five and under get in
free.
