(June
17,
2013) - With an abundance of
drivers from Illinois and Wisconsin, it was
a teenage driver from Greenfield that
dominated the Mini Cup feature Saturday at
Anderson Speedway.
Mike Harrold took the
early lead in the feature chased by Jayden
Cave and Jamie Domski. Brody Hays took the
third spot on lap four entering turn three.
Domski and Bryce Whitson
swapped the fourth position several times
over the next few laps.
By lap eight Cave was in
command of the race, winning by 3.8-seconds
over Harrold with Hays, Whitson and Domski
rounding out the top five.
After a spin by Domski
on the first lap resulted in a restart of
the heat race, Jayden Fryer grabbed the lead
and was never seriously challenged for the
win.
Fryer, who set fast
time, won by 2-seconds over Cave wih Hays,
Harrold and Whitson rounding out the top
five.
