Final Night of Thrills Set for Saturday Night

(October 10, 2012) – The final Night of Thrills presented by MAX FM 93.5/96.7 will be featured at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, October 13. Featured divisions include IOFS Outlaw Figure 8’s, Roll Over Contest, Culver’s Trailer Race, IOFS Super Carts, IOFS Compact Figure 8’s and Mini Cups.

The IOFS Outlaw Figure 8’s will compete in their eighth and final event at Anderson Speedway during the 2012 racing season on Saturday evening. Drivers that have scored feature victories at Anderson this season include Charlie Hargraves (March), Jonny Hargraves (April and June), Eddie Van Meter (May, July 4th and July 15th (BestWay Disposal National Crown) and Mike St. John (September).

The IOFS Super Karts make a fourth appearance at the quarter-mile oval. Ben Smith scored the victory in April with Ryan Cherry taking top honors in July and September.

Donnie Ellis Jr. is the most recent victor in the IOFS Compact division scoring the feature victory on August 11. He finished ahead of Josh Tharp and Mark Allman.

Exciting racing events will also be showcased by the Culver’s Trailer Race, Roll Over Contest and Mini Cups.

On Saturday, October 13, spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with the racing beginning at 7. Admission is $12 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
