ThunderCar Enduro and Front Wheel Drive Challenge Set for Saturday

20, 2011) –
Anderson Speedway returns to action with 300 laps of feature racing
on Saturday, October 22nd. The ThunderCar Enduro will feature a 200-lap
event paying $3,000 to the winner with the Front Wheel Drive Challenge
earning a $750 payday for the feature winner.
The ThunderCar Enduro will feature some of the top drivers from the region
in a 200-lap event. In March, Benny Blevins earned the victory with Allan
Williams Jr. and Herb Rose completing the podium finishers.
In last year’s Front Wheel Drive Challenge, Rickie Tharp scored the victory
besting the 43 competitors that were on hand to take part in the 100-lap
event. Crossing the finish line behind the race winner included Ron Phipps
and Josh Tharp.
On Saturday, October 22, spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with the racing
beginning at 7. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12.
Children five and under get in free.
