2nd Annual Angels Shine On Scholarship Ride
(August
12, 2011) – Angels Shine On is a Madison County Scholarship Fund in
memory of students who have passed away at an early age. Through your
support these students will live on through the achievements of their peers.
Each year this ride will be dedicated to a local area High School.
The 2nd Annual Scholarship Ride will take place on Saturday, August 20th
2011. The ride will start at the VFW Post 266. Bikers of all ages are
welcome. All bikers and passengers are required to pay a $10 entry fee each.
The first 100 registrants will receive a free t-shirt. Sign up will take
place from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the ride being kicked off at 11:30 a.m.
This is a “no bar stops” ride. Following the ride the VFW will be open for
your “preferred beverage” choice. There will be a bike show immediately
following the ride.
In addition to the bike ride, there will be an All Day Block Party from 9
a.m. until dusk. There will be food, music, vendors, auctions and door
prizes. Following the Block Party will be and After Party at 8:30 p.m.
featuring one of Indy’s finest, “Big City Steal”. The cost for the Big City
Steal show will be $5 for those that did not participate in the ride.
