SealWrap Redbud 300 to Showcase Elliott, Kenseth, Blaney, Schrader and CRA Super Series Stars

NASCAR Rising Star Brad Keselowski to Sign Autographs

(July 29, 2011) – Since the resurgence of the Late Model crown jewel event in 2009, the Seal Wrap Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway has been one of the most exciting events on the CRA Super Series tour. The 2011 edition on Monday, August 1 will be presented by Hoosier Park Racing & Casino, Great Deals Savings Magazine and Ed Martin Toyota.

This year, NASCAR legend Ken Schrader and the sons of three NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers will be making their appearance for the SealWrap Redbud 300. Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, Ross Kenseth will attempt to make the starting field.

All the big names from the CRA Super Series will also be racing the Redbud 300 including defending winner Scott Hantz, John VanDoorn, Rick Turner, Derrick Griffin, Kenny Tweedy, Jeff Lane and Brian Campbell.

The CRA Super Series Late Models return for their 50th appearance at the high-banked quarter-mile oval and the final visit of the 2011 season.

Knightstown’s Jeff Lane is the most recent winner with CRA at Anderson, scoring a popular victory last May. He finished ahead of Tennessee competitor Mason Mingus and Ft. Wayne’s Terry Fisher Jr.

Proving how tough it’s to reach the winner’s circle at Anderson, CRA Champions John Van Doorn and Scott Hantz grabbed feature victories in 2010. VanDoorn wheeled the No. 61 into the winner’s circle in April with Hantz claiming the prestigious Welch & Wilson Motorsports Redbud 300.

In series history, Brian Ross holds the number one position in victories with scoring a total of eight at Anderson. Other multiple event winners include inaugural series champion Kenny Tweedy (4), Junior Hanley (4), Hantz (4), series champions Jeff Lane (3), Bobby Parsley (3) and Van Doorn (3). Drivers that have claimed two victories include Jim Cooper and Rick Turner. Sixteen drivers have scored at least one win at Anderson.

Advance tickets for the Seal Wrap Redbud 300 presented by presented by Hoosier Park Racing & Casino, Great Deals Savings Magazine and Ed Martin Toyota at Anderson Speedway on Monday, August 1, are available now for $20. Tickets can also be purchased on race day at the track for $25.

Spectator Gates open at 4 p.m. with a special autograph session taking place at 6 p.m. that will include Brad Keselowski. Racing action will take place at 7:30.
