Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series Kicks Off Pay Less Little 500 Week

(May 24, 2011) – The third annual Must See Racing 60 presented by Sam Pierce Chevrolet will bring the fastest short track cars in the World to Anderson Speedway on Wednesday, May 25. The Biobased USA Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series (MSRXSS) will be the second race of the season as Aaron Pierce opened up the season with a victory at Salem Speedway.

Defending Must See Racing 60 champion, Jimmy McCune, headlines a star studded field of drivers that will include: Jason Blonde, Bobby Santos, Billy Wease, Kyle Weigland, Ryan Litt, Hank Lower, Jeff Bloom, Mike Larrison, Jacob Wilson, Mike Ling, and Dave Baumgartner among others.

Local driver, Donnie Adams Jr., of nearby Alexandria is also expected to participate. Adams will be running for one of the top teams on the MSRXSS circuit. Adams will be behind the wheel of the Suellen Wishe owned Wilshe Motorsports entry. This will be the first season Adams has competed in winged sprint car competition. The Must See Racing 60 will also be the first time Adams has competed at Anderson Speedway with a wing as well.

The Third annual Must See Racing 60 presented by Sam Pierce Chevrolet will feature a new wrinkle at this year’s event. For the first time in the races three-year history, only one sanctioning body will be featured. In previous years, HOSS and the AVSS have co-sanctioned with MSRXSS. This year, MSRXSS will be the exclusive sanctioning body of the event.

Joining the Winged Sprint Cars, the WMDH ThunderCars will be in action on the high-banked quarter-mile oval. Rob Allman sits atop the point standings with a slim three point advantage over Lonny Burton. The remainder of the top five includes Hannah Lundy, David McConnel and Jameson Owens.

On Wednesday, May 25, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing beginning at 7. Advance Admission is $15 for adults and $10 day of race. Tickets are $4 for kids ages 6-12 with children five and under getting in free.

First round qualifications for the 63rd Pay Less Little 500 will take place on Thursday, May 26, beginning at 1:30 p.m. with the 33-car field set during second round of qualifications on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, the 63rd Pay Less Little 500 goes green approximately at 8 p.m.

Tickets are available for the historic 63rd Pay Less Little 500 at $28 for reserved seating. For more information, contact the Anderson Speedway Ticket Office at (765) 642-0206.
