Pam Neal Joins Growing Street Stock Class
(March
29, 2011) –
Continuing a rich family racing tradition, Pam Neal
will compete in the Street Stock division at Anderson Speedway in the
upcoming 2011 season.
“I’m really looking forward to the season in the Street Stock division,”
said Pam Neal. “I have a lot of respect for all drivers and hope we can race
clean all season and challenge for a couple wins.”
Pam Neal has gained five years of experience of racing at nearby Mt. Lawn
Speedway. Last season she placed sixth in the ThunderCar point standings. She
capped off her year with racing in the ThunderCar Enduro at Anderson, timing in an
impressive 12th and listed 18th in the final finishing order after
experiencing trouble during the final stages of the 200-lap event.
Plans for the season in addition to the full Street Stock campaign include
ThunderCar Enduro action and possible appearance at Winchester Speedway.
Pam's husband Scott will be behind the wheel of the Street Stock at Lucas
Oil Raceway in Indianapolis for the CRA Street Stock event.
“I’m really excited about working with Scott in the driver/crew chief role.
He has gained a ton of valuable experience and will be a huge help with my
growth as a driver at Anderson.”
Scott Neal will serve as crew chief with Tim Neal and Jason Neal also being
key members of the racing effort. Scott Neal has an impressive resume that
include victories in the CRA Super Series, ARCA, CRA Street Stocks and CRA
Late Model Sportsman while brother Tim is a multi-time track champion at
Anderson.
The No. 3 Street Stock for Pam Neal will have backing from Welch & Wilson’s
company SEAL Wrap.
