2010 Season Finale to Showcase H.O.S.S. Winged Sprint Cars
(October 26, 2010) – The H.O.S.S. Winged Sprint Cars return to Anderson Speedway on Saturday, October 30 in the 2010 season finale at the quarter-mile oval. The Front Wheel Drive Oval and Thunder Roadsters divisions will also be part of the racing lineup on Saturday.

The Winged Sprint Cars will make their second appearance of the 2010 season at Anderson Speedway. Ohio’s Jimmy McCune scored the May victory with Troy Decaire and Dave Steele chasing the winner across the finish line. Heading into the H.O.S.S. season finale, Jason Cox holds a 44 point lead over Tim Cox with Hank Lower listed in third position.

Rickie Tharp is the most recent driver to claim a win in the Front Wheel Drive Oval division after collecting the victory in the longest event of the season last weekend in the 100-lap Front Wheel Drive Challenge – Ed Maynard Memorial. Ron Phipps and Josh Tharp completed the top three performers in the special event.

The most recent appearance of the Thunder Roadsters occurred in late September when James Edsall ll drove into the winners circle after finishing ahead of Chris Weddle and Al Renner.

Spectator gates open at 3 p.m. on Saturday with the racing program beginning at 6. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
