Superman Claims 5th Championship; Warner Repeats in FWD Figure 8
(October 19, 2010) – Going into the final weekend for the Front Wheel Drive division in Figure-8 action there was no doubt that Nick Warner was going to
wear the champion's crown.

Warner known as "Superman" has dominated the division in recent years winning the championship in 2005, 2006, 2007 and in 2009.

It was not a goal at the start of the year," Warner said before the Ed Martin Toyota sponsored Championship night. "It's just so much fun to beat everyone."

Warner said the year didn't start off that great for the team and Rickie Tharp was strong early in the season.

"We were consistent every week and got to the top," he said of the championship.

Warner said after winning five championships in the FWD division in Figure-8 competition he was looking for a new challenge.

"After this one I'm done," he said. "I'm thinking about a Street Stock for next season."
