Warner cruises to Figure 8 win; Josh Tharp and Warner get heat victories
Anderson's Nick Warner recorded his third Front
Wheel Drive Figure-8 feature win in a race of attrition at Anderson Speedway on Saturday.

The early lead was taken by Rickie Tharp, but it proved to be
short-lived when he slowed on the third lap and pulled out of
contention.

That gave the lead to Warner who was never seriously challenged for the win. During the race a mechanical problem did in Elliott McKinney while running third.

Following Warner to the checkers was Josh Tharp and Kevin
Henson. They were the only cars running at the finish. It was
Warner's third feature win of the year.

Josh Tharp recorded his fourth heat win of the season in the initial race leading the entire distance. He was chanced by Rickie Tharp, Matt Tharp, Kevin Henson and Lawrence Kelly Jones.

Warner scored his third heat win of the season followed by
McKinney, Jay Sullivan and Harry LaShure.
