Anderson Speedway's 2010 Season Begins on Saturday

The much anticipated 2010 season kicks off at Anderson Speedway on Saturday Night, March 27, with the ThunderCar Enduro 200. The Front Wheel Drives Oval, Legends and Pure Stocks will also be in action on Opening Night.

The ThunderCar Enduro in late March has become a regular fixture for the start of the Anderson Speedway schedule. Last year, Johnny Magee continued his strong performance in the long distance event with besting the 38-car starting field. At the finish, Magee was followed across the finish line by Rod Phipps, the only other competitor to complete the full 200-lap distance. Nick Warner placed third with Rob Allman and Josh Poore completing the top-five finishers.

The Front Wheel Drive Oval division will be showcased in a 20-lap feature, while the Legends have a 25-lap main event and the brand new Pure Stock division will debut in a 20-lap race.

On Saturday, March 27, spectator gates open at 4 p.m. with the racing beginning at 7. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
