13th Annual Grant Fritz / Greg Dietzen Memorial, Street Stocks, Figure 8's and Thunder Roadsters on Saturday

Racing action returns to Anderson Speedway on Saturday, August 29 with the 13th Annual Grant Fritz / Greg Dietzen Memorial featuring the Legends as the marquee event. Other featured divisions during WHBU Night at the Races include Street Stocks, ImmediaDent Figure 8’s and Thunder Roadsters.

The 13th Annual Grant Fritz / Greg Dietzen Memorial will feature the Legends in a 100-lap feature. Last year, Tennessee driver David Moyes III dominated the event, leading all 100 laps and scoring his seventh feature victory of the season. Behind Moyes at the finish included Adam Roberts, James Edsall, Dylan Ames and Alex Kempf.

Former track champion Bret Miles continues to sit atop the Street Stock point standings with Rob Allman listed in the second position. Third is Rich Boyer with Randy Hoppes in fourth position and Bruce McFall rounding out the top five.

A close points battle highlights the ImmediaDent Figure 8’s with Jeff Swinford pacing the tight four way battle for the title. Johnny Magge is second, 33 points behind first position. Rickie Tharp ranks third with Mike Riddle Jr. in fourth spot, just 47 markers from the lead. Josh Tharp rounds out the top five.

The Thunder Roadsters will make their second consecutive appearance at Anderson Speedway. They will be showcased in the "The Fudge Man" Thunder Roadster 50. Al Renner earned the feature victory last weekend.
