CRA Street Stocks Return on Saturday Night along with ThunderCars, Front
Wheel Drives, Legends and Thunder Roadsters

action returns to Anderson Speedway on Saturday, August 22 with the return of
the CRA Street Stocks in a 75-lap feature. Other divisions in action include
ThunderCars, Legends, Thunder Roadsters along with Front Wheel Drives in Oval
and Figure 8 action.
Heading into this weekend’s 75-lap event, Joe Beaver sits atop the CRA Street
Stock point standings with a 25 point cushion over Josh Burton. Third is Jason
Thompson with Bret Miles Jr. and Rich Boyer completing the top five. In the
Anderson Speedway Street Stock point standings, Bret Miles holds an 84 point
margin over Rob Allman. The remainder of the top five includes Rich Boyer with
Randy Hoppes and Kyle Flynn.
Rob Allman leads the ThunderCar point standings with a 14 point margin over Rod
Phipps. ThunderCar Enduro winner Nick Warner ranks in third position with Terry
Malone Jr. and Hannah Lundy completing the top five.
Jeff Saxon leads the way in the Front Wheel Drive Oval division with nearly a
200 point margin over Gary Bragg Jr. Third in the standings is Kevin Harmon with
Jack Leisure and Gary Bragg filling out the top five.
Three-time Front Wheel Drive Figure 8 champion Nick Warner tops the division
standings with defending division titlist Andy Keller listed in the second spot.
The remainder of the top five includes Elliott McKinney and Jeff Williams.
The Saturday program will also showcase Legends and Thunder Roadsters.
Alternatives, Incorporated will be at Anderson Speedway from 5 to 8 p.m. with
the Racing To End Domestic Violence Carnival. Games include ring toss, duck
pond, corn hole, fishing game, lion toss, and much more. If you have any old
cell phones please donate it to Alternatives, Incorporated this weekend.
On Saturday Night, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing beginning at
8. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and
under get in free.
