ThunderCar Enduro on Saturday Night

action returns to Anderson Speedway on Saturday, June 13 for the ThunderCar
Enduro 200 along with appearances from the Front Wheel Drives in Oval and Figure
8 action.
The
ThunderCar Enduro will feature some of the top drivers in the area battling for
200 laps for a $3,000 first place prize. The initial ThunderCar Enduro of this
season took place on Friday, April 24 with Johnny Magee collecting the victory.
Second at the finish was Rod Phipps, the only other competitor to finish the
grueling 200-lap distance. The remainder of the top five included Nick Warner,
Rob Allman and Josh Poore.
In the Front
Wheel Drives Oval division, Jeff Saxon paces the division in the early stages
with Andy Keller and Gary Bragg Jr. in third position. Fourth is defending
division champion Kevin Harmon with Gary Bragg rounding out the top five. In the
Figure 8 standings, Andy Keller sits atop the standings with an 18 point cushion
over Nick Warner. Third is Donnie Ellis Jr. with Jared Keller and Kevin Harmon
completing the top five.
On Saturday
Night, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing beginning at 8. Admission
is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in
free.
