WLBC / MAX Summer Series on Friday, 59th Best Way Disposal National Crown on Saturday Night

Anderson Speedway returns to racing action this weekend with another big double header weekend. On July 18, the WLBC / MAX Friday Night Summer will showcase USAC Kenyon Midgets, Newco Metals Legends, ThunderCars and Quick Auto Front Wheel Drives in Amateur and Figure 8 action.

On Saturday, July 19, the 59h Best Way Disposal National Crown featuring the ImmediaDent Figure 8’s will take place. The Ed Martin Chevrolet SuperTrucks and KOIL Legends will also be on the racing schedule.

In the Newco Metals Legends, John Robbins continues to hold the first position, now with a 147 point margin over Billy Smith. Third in the point standings is Mark Dietzen with Clark Dietzen ranked in fourth position. Adam Roberts rounds out the top five.

Lonny Burton visited the winner’s circle for the second occasion last weekend to reclaim the first position in the ThunderCar division. Travis Burge ranks second, nine points from the top spot. Third is Sam Folsom with Tom Tacket and Tim Nickerson completing the top five.

In the Quick Auto Front Wheel Drive Amateur division, Kevin Harmon holds a 13 point advantage over Harry LaShure. Third is veteran Andy Keller with Jeff Saxon and Donnie Ellis lll filling out the top five.

Andy Keller sits atop the Quick Auto Front Wheel Drive Figure 8’s standings with a 50 point cushion over Donnie Ellis Jr. Third place is credited to Harry LaShure with Jared Keller and Tony Torres completing the top five.

On Friday Night, spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with the racing program beginning at 8. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.

After posting a top-five finish two weeks ago, Ranny Hinton now holds first position in the ImmediaDent point standings heading into the 59th Best Way Disposal National Crown. Rob Allman ranks second, 48 markers from the top spot. Third is Ronnie Rose with Mike Riddle Jr. and Joe Hart rounding out the top five in the point standings.

Joe Beaver leads the Ed Martin Chevrolet SuperTruck point standings with a 25 point lead over Josh Poore. Third is most recent race winner Rod Phipps with Jerry Faucett and Josh Timmerman rounding out the top five.

The Kenyon Midgets will return to Anderson Speedway this weekend. Drew Charlson holds a two point lead over Caleb Armstrong in the point standings.

On Saturday Night, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing program beginning at 8. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
