Anderson 400 Event on Saturday and the WLBC/MAX Summer Series on Friday
Anderson Speedway returns to racing action on
Friday, August 3rd with the WLBC/MAX Friday Night Summer Series showcasing Newco
Metals Legends, ThunderCars along with Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drives
in Oval and Figure 8 action.
On Friday Night, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with the racing program
beginning at 8. Admission is $7 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children
five and under get in free.
Saturday, August 4th, the “Responsibility Matters” Anderson 400 Event will take
place featuring the Budweiser 250 presented by Great Deals Magazine featuring
the CRA Super Series Late Models and the Bud Light 150 featuring the CRA Street
Stocks.
Anderson Speedway has hosted more CRA Super Series events than any other track.
The Budweiser 250 presented by Great Deals Magazine will be a straight 250-lap
race with live pit stops. The CRA Super Series will use the Lucky Dog format for
the first time ever in the race’s history. Thirty cars are pre-registered for
Saturday’s event, including series points leader Chris Gabehart and third
generation driver Bret Miles, Jr.
The Bud Light 150 is the second longest race of the season for the CRA Street
Stock series. All top ten drivers in points are expected to race in the Bud
Light 150, including points leader Rich Boyer and 2006 series champion Joe
Beaver, who is currently fourth in points.
Saturday Night, spectator gates open at 5 p.m. with racing beginning at 8.
Admission is $12 for advance tickets which are available at the track, or $15
for adults on the day of the race and $5 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and
under are admitted free.
