Figure 8 Madness & Fireworks Set for Anderson Speedway

Anderson Speedway will again present an exciting show on July 4th as the Indiana Business College Figure 8 Madness takes the track. All races will be run on the Figure 8 course including a 1 hour Figure 8 Enduro, Chappy’s Rent to Own Front Wheel Drive Cars in the Figure 8, School Bus Figure 8’s and a new feature, Powder Puff Figure 8 racing.

Afterwards the skies will come alive as MAX 96.7 and WHBU am 1240 presents the spectacular set the night to music fireworks display. Heralded as one of the biggest displays in the area, Speedway officials report this year’s fireworks display should be even larger.

At 6:30 p.m., children will have the opportunity to take a ride around the track on one of the racing school buses.

Spectator Gates open at 4 p.m. with a special early race time expected to begin shortly after 7 p.m. Adult admission is only $10, children 6 – 12 are $4 and children five and under are free.
