Timmerman Planning Full Season SuperTruck Effort
By Becky T. Edwards

Joshua Timmerman, 19, has his work cut out for him for the 2007 season. He
attends the University of Northwestern Ohio, maintaining a 3.6 GPA and has
received the ARCA Re/Max Series Scholarship for the past two years.
Timmerman spends his free time working on race cars in the ARCA Re/Max Series to
gain hands on experience to succeed in the world of motorsports.
Along with attending the University, Joshua is preparing for the 2007 Rookie of
the Year competition and looking for his career first win in the Ed Martin Auto
Group SuperTrucks.
Timmerman raced in the Street Stock division at Kokomo Speedway in 2005 and then
advanced to Anderson Speedway and the SuperTruck Division in later part of the
2006 season.
“Our team has worked very hard the last few years," said Timmerman. "With no
sponsorship and a limited budget, I'm very happy with the results we have
achieved. We continued to make progress at the end of last year, but were bitten
with multiple mechanical failures. We are looking forward to taking the
checkered flag in 2007!”
With the upcoming season quickly approaching, Joshua and his team are putting
the final touches on the No. 09 Chevrolet Silverado for practice scheduled on
March 17. The truck will have a new look for 2007.
