VROA Modifieds Top Racing Card

The VROA Modifieds will be making their final appearance of the season on Saturday night during First Responders Night.

Michigan driver Tom Boorsma has a perfect record when it comes to winning features at Anderson Speedway for the Vintage Racing Organization of American Modifieds. For the second time this year and third overall Boorsma pulled into the winner’s circle back in August.

Defending track champion Josh Poore was victorious last time the Street Stocks were in action on July 15.

The CSR Super Cups will be making their first appearance of the season.

The Marcum’s Welding Pro Compacts will also be in action.  Currently there is a tight points battle between Ron Phipps and Jeff Williams with Matt Tharp not far behind.

Qualifying is set for 6:30 p.m. with racing action starting at 8 p.m.

Kids 12 and under can participate in bike races presented by Madison County Storm Water Quality Partnership, starting at 7:30 p.m. Two bicycles, donated by US Scrap and VROA Modifieds, will be raffled off after the bike races.

Adult tickets are priced at $12 with $4 admission cost for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
