Street Stocks in Tune-up for 200-lap Showdown

The Street Stock Division highlights the Anderson Speedway racing card this weekend for the tune-up for the CRA 200 presented by Star Financial Bank showdown on June 17.
Double T Leather is sponsoring Military Appreciation night with all active military members and military veterans admitted for free with military ID.
This weekend opens a busy remaining month of June at Anderson Speedway with the Red Bud 400 set for June 24 for the Champion Racing Association’s Super Series.
Josh Poore won the first visit by the Champion Racing Association Street Stock division on the lightning fast high-banked quarter-mile Anderson Speedway oval.
The June 17th 200-lap feature is the second leg of the Four Crown challenge for the CRA Street Stock competitors.
Joining the Street Stocks on the racing card are the Mel Kenyon Midget Series in which Kyle Hamilton, the winner of the 69th running of the Pay Less Little 500, won the first appearance of the series at Anderson Speedway.
Trey Osborne won the rain shortened Mel and Don Kenyon Classic on May 26. Alexandria’s Clayton Gaines has recorded two wins this year, including the most recent race at Limaland Speedway in Ohio.
The VROA Modifieds will be making their first of two appearances at the track along with the CSR Mini-Cups.
Qualifying is set for 5:30 p.m. with racing action starting at 8 p.m. Adult tickets are priced at $12, $4 for children between the ages of 6 and 12.
