Hoosier Double Down $10,000 Bonus On the Line for Winchester / Anderson May Races

Hoosier Double Down $10,000 Bonus On the Line for Winchester / Anderson May Races

It could be a big payday for one racer if they are able to walk away with the Hoosier Double Down in May in Indiana.

Track officials with Winchester Speedway and Anderson Speedway are pleased to announce the Hoosier Double Down incentive.  A $10,000 bonus will be awarded if a driver is able to sweep both the Fly Over States 150 at Winchester on Tuesday, May 18 and the Spring Fling 125 presented by Mitch Smith Automotive and Perfecto at Anderson on Saturday, May 22.

Given the purse structure of Winchester’s Fly Over States event (based on car counts), and the purse for the Spring Fling 125, a driver could leave Anderson Speedway up to $34,000 richer after May 22’s race.

“The Fly Over States 150 is already a major event in its inaugural year, but with the Hoosier Double Down bonus, it’s poised to get even bigger,” said Bob Dillner, Winchester Speedway Promoter.  “It’s exciting to work with Rick Dawson and everyone at Anderson to put the Fly Over States and Spring Fling on the map for all Super Late Model competitors all over the country.”

“We at Anderson Speedway are excited to work with Bob and Winchester to put on a bonus like this for the drivers,” said Anderson Speedway owner Rick Dawson.  “The Anderson 125-lapper is always an exciting preview for July’s Redbud 400 and the Fly Over States 150 is going to be a big race, so we’re looking forward to next month.”
