The Ownership team, Management, Staff and Competitors alike of Anderson Speedway were stunned this week at the sudden passing of former long-time owner of Anderson Speedway, John Hellis of Muncie, Indiana.

ATTENTION Marcum’s Welding Pro Compact Competitors!
Officials have released changes to the 2016 schedule for those competing in the Marcum's Welding Pro Compacts division. Front Wheel Drive Figure 8's have been added to July 4 Figure 8 Madness presented by Madison County Visitors Bureau and Star 106.9. They have also been added to Saturday Night Racing on July 9. The Marcum's Pro Compact rules and the payout will be the same for the Front Wheel Drive Figure 8. Competitors may not use the same cars in both the Marcum's Welding Pro Compacts oval event and the Front Wheel Drive Figure 8 event.
