ARCA/CRA Super Series Event Postponed Due to Weather – Open Practice Still Scheduled

Anderson, IN …  Forecasted rain and possible storms have prompted Anderson Speedway officials to postpone this weekend’s racing action. Nearly every weather resource available is predicting poor weather conditions Saturday afternoon and evening, with possible thunderstorms for the area.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series race presented by Mitch Smith Auto Service and Perfecto, along with Legends and the Hart’s Auto Center Ford Division have been rescheduled for Saturday, May 22.

“With the bleak weather forecast, we wanted to give our fans and competitors ample time to rearrange their weekend schedules before planning their trip to Anderson Speedway,” said Rick Dawson, Track President. “Fortunately, when we produced our 2021 schedule, we made provisions for just such a rainout. The rescheduled race date will be perfect to help kick off a great week at Anderson Speedway as we prepare for the 73rd Pay Less Little 500 presented by UAW.”

Racing returns to the Speedway next weekend with a great night of racing featuring the first appearance of the season for all four divisions including the CRA Late Model Sportsman, CRA Street Stocks, Mel Kenyon Midgets and the Vores Compact Touring Series.

All competitors will still have an open practice on Friday, April 9th from 4 until 7pm.
