The Hoosier State & Anderson Speedway Next for Dan Leeck

BIRCH RUN, Mich. –  Dan Leeck & his Dan Leeck Racing team will head to the famed; ¼ (0.250) high-banked Anderson Speedway, home of the Redbud 300 this weekend. The 7th event in the chase for the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour Championship will be the running of the Edgewater Woods 100 Presented by JEGS.com on Saturday, July 26th. Leeck finished 6th in last season’s event.

Last Friday evening was the running of the Berlin 100 Presented Boyne Machine Company & JEGS.com. Although the entire weekend was a struggle for the #12 Dan
Leeck Racing team, they salvaged a lead-lap 16th place finish, retaining the JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour points lead.

Leeck although frustrated with the night remained positive, “It was a tough night but we did what we could.”

Leeck is headed to one of his best tracks this weekend, Anderson Speedway. Last season, Leeck battled for over ¾ of the race with 2013 JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour Champion & ARCA Racing star Cody Coughlin, eventually coming out on top with an impressive 6th place finish, driving the last half of the race without brakes!

Anderson Speedway, the host of the Edgewater Woods 100 Presented by JEGS.com on Saturday, July 26th is a quarter mile high-banked paved short track located in Anderson, Indiana. The corners are banked 17 degrees, resulting in very fast lap times and speeds nearing 100mph on corner entry. Anderson Speedway is home of the famed Redbud 300, as well as, the Little 500. The Little 500 is run the night before the Indianapolis 500 and is considered one of the premier sprint car races.

“Anderson Speedway is one of my favorites. I have been looking forward to this race all season.” Leeck said in regards to this Saturday’s race and racing at Anderson Speedway.
